A topic that has always been controversial and yet been at it’s current level for 25 years, genetic engineering has a lot of different benefits. Along with all of the benefits that it brings it also brings with it a lot of risk, this is where it becomes controversial. This is something that is so interesting and has the prospect to help so many different people and issues that it is constantly being viewed and researched by scientists, so much so that it is said that almost everyday a scientist makes a new breakthrough in the human engineering. Genetic engineering can help in gene therapy in the way that it can help in the treatment of diseases. This is done in the way that they can replace damaged genes or replace them with ones that can help in fighting off the disease. This has been seen as very helpful in the treatment of the following diseases; Huntington’s disease, ALS, and cystic fibrosis

As you can see there a quite a few videos that address the advantages of genetic engineering and as I was looking for more I kept coming up to the same movie that were listed in Google movies. I strongly recommend that you visit that site and pick for yourself what movies you like the best. All of the movies seem to be like 3 minutes or so, it ‘s a nice way to mix up a lesson or just so you and/or your students can get a visual!
